United Country Auction Services hosted the 13th
Annual Auction Expo in Kansas City, Mo., earlier this week. The event sold out
with nearly 200 attendees, attracting top auctioneers and real estate
professionals from 33 different states and three different countries, including
Canada and Fiji.
Leaders in auction and real estate in and
outside United Country attended the event, as did representatives from the
nation’s largest real estate auction office. The expo also drew interest from
conventional real estate professionals who are considering adding auction
services to their offerings. They gained insight into the auction method of
marketing, and were able to network with experts.
The expo’s guest speakers, discussions and
exhibitors greatly improved attendees’ industry knowledge. John Hamilton, John
Schultz and Mike Bradly were the keynote speakers – covering the latest in
marketing, negotiations, legal and more. Panel discussions with leading auction
experts covered online auctions, subdividing land, equipment auctions and other
topical techniques and best practices.
Leading vendors, including AuctionTime,
MapRight and Olde School Marketing, and more showcased new and innovative
services. The exhibitors hosted a silent auction and raised more than $1,700
for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
